*chuckle* Then you are burning through powder a lot faster than we are! We have found that more powder only makes more smoke, but not more BOOM after about 45 grains in my gun and 75 in my hubbys. The cannon is a different matter, but even that looses compression/sound after about 250 grains (five, 1" bore barrels in a box gun frame).
Eastern as in relative to Lancaster, Harrisburg Etc.? Haven't done the reenactment thing in years. Used to belong to the Lancaster Fencibles Civil War group. I have a fascination with the Landsknecht but aside from 3 swords from Museum Replicas little else. I'm interested in patterns for clothing, shoes , hat etc. It would be great to meet you and see your group. I have a minor obsession with the local Ren. Faire and thought they have everything but a representitive Landsknecht it would be great and generate some interest. Great to hear from you. I'll be fumbling around here till I get the feel for the site. Like FB but not.
Great work! I´ve got a barrel from an old indian musket. It´s like ten yerars ago since i bought it, but now it might be time to build a butt and mechanism for it.
